What is RSS?
RSS (Really Simple Syndication) is a technology, which allows user to get the materials of the web-page in special format, in XML (Extensible Markup Language) language.
With this technology you can receive last headlines from our web-page in one news feed, not visiting the page itself.
To use RSS, it is necessary to install on your computer either one of news “readers” (web grabber | rss feed reader | rss aggregator), or the newest versions of browsers Mozilla Firefox and Opera, in which the function of subscription to RSS is automatically included.
Here are some of the free-of-charge RSS feed readers:
Feedreader(www.feedreader.com)
Gregarius (devlog.gregarius.net)

What is podcast?
A term “podcasting” was created from the combination of words iPod (popular player from Apple) and “broadcasting”.
Podcasting allows you to get the most recent audio-episodes of programs immediately after they become available on the web-page. To get these audio files, one needs to “subscribe” to a podcast – like one would subscribe to a newsletter or text RSS feed.
To subscribe for a podcast, you would need an access to Internet and one of the most popular free of charge subscription programs installed on your computer, like:
* iTunes
* Juice
* Doppler
