Football: AEK 2:2 BATE

BATE Borisov on Thursday drew 2:2 with Greek side AEK in a Europa League group round match in Athenes.

Talking to the press after the match, BATE coach Viktar Hancharenka described the result as good yet the team wanted to win.

“Given the situation on the pitch (a quick goal and sending-off), I think the result is good. I will say again that we went to Greece to win but made a lot of mistakes”.
