Small bear walked on chain in Slonim

A six-month bear has been walked on the streets of Slonim to advertise a visiting mobile circus.

It is banned to keep animals on chain in more civilised countries where 'green' and other animal protection activists are on watch. Besides, viewing a bear on chain gets children demoralized.

But Belarusian animal protection activists have not defended the bear. Perhaps, they are simply not there in in Slonim.
